Any flavor, it didn't matter...and I have to admit, they are darn good! He would down his and ask for a bite of someone elses. He took the hugest bites! Awww Dad! I love it!



Coconut Cream Pies! You couldn't keep one of these in the fridge. If Dad knew it was there, it was GONE.


Mom says Dad would eat all but one pickle and put it back in the fridge. That is funny to me! I miss all the funny things he did. His personality made everyone not think so much and just have fun.

Some people like to eat popcorn while watching t.v., well Dad liked to get out the raw noodles and munch on those during a show....You couldn't hear a thing. I love that he did that...it too makes me laugh.

There are many things he loved to eat.... anything Mom made! He would hoover around her in the kitchen and sampled most of his meal right out of the pan. Tonight has been a year without him here with us. It doesn't seem like it has been that long & it still doesn't seem like he is gone! Alot of our family is here, visiting over the weekend. Tonight we will have dinner together. We will eat alot of his favorite foods and tell stories about Dad. We ALL Love You DAD!

April Fools in Feb!

This is Louis & I's bathroom... He doesn't understand why I get ready in here when there is a super girlie bathroom right down the hall? I think it's because I only want to clean one for right now. So last night when we got home I was in here getting my PJ's on for bed and My fake Ugg boots came right off and they were still connected to my jeans....I chuckled a little because I knew of a April Fools that we did (back in middle school) where you put the boots and jeans at a stall and it looks like there is a man in the ladies room. As a 4th grader, this was pretty clever. But I didn't think it up, my Mom & Dad had told my sister & I about it. Anyways, Mrs. Welter (never could forget her) or the look on her face, when we went and told her there was a man in our bathroom! haha

So I decided to "April Fools" Louis in Feb! I did well when I set them in there, not laughing and giving it away. But Louis never decided to go into the bathroom after me because he was already ready for bed. Darn! So I had to sleep there and wait for the morning.

Little did I remember when I got up this morning... I was the first to head to the bathroom (still dark outside) and when I turned on the lights to go in, I JUMPED & Screamed and RAN to hop in the bed LAUGHING....Because I just scared the crap out of myself!

Last night I went out to dinner with two of my BEST friends. We ate at The Outback Steak House. (kinda ironic, since one of them is flying back to Austrailia with her guy on Monday...) We had some drinks, a lovely dinner and a whole lot of catching up! And me, being the married lady, listened to each of them talk about their love lives. (Which each of them have boyfriends that were seriously made for them! Couldn't ask for a better match! And after a few hours of girl talk, I think I know their "guys" a whole lot more than I should. ~ LOL. But what I thought was silly is that when they started talking about weddings....I had both of their weddings picked out for them. So I proceeded to tell them their wedding colors I have chosen, the dresses and hair I picture them in, and so on! But what I had to ask is, What are they waiting for? Gran Torino...a must see!

We (mom, my brother, cousin, sister and her husband and me and mine) squished into Mom's big pickup and went to the Movies! This doesn't happen alot so it was pretty much a big deal. We heard Gran Torino was a good flick so we were pretty excited. It was really a GREAT movie! I wont write much because I don't want to ruin the movie for you all, but I will leave you with one thing that I learned.

Our Casa & a Little Decor'

We *EAT AT MOM'S* every chance we get! Louis asked me the other day if we could pick up our house and move it out to MOM'S!? I wish, honey!

This is our lovely kitchen, Brandie made our cute curtains. And most of the appliances and things were gifts from our wedding in August. So much fun opening boxes and putting everything in place. I move things around still, everyday! OCD, I swear.

Here is our fireplace mantel.....we don't turn it on much (to save $, haha) but it is so warm & pretty on the nights we splurge! lol I love the sign in the middle that a family friend gave us for a wedding gift, BASL with Always & Forever! This mantel is decorated wintery, I can't wait to go to garage sales, estate sales and goodwill to change it up!

This is the "Girlie" bathroom up stairs! I love black & pink together! Especially the Zebra shower curtain!
